One Thousand Dark Threads on Wet Pavement was composed in 2014 for the New Threads Saxophone Quartet. It is evocative of a TV detective show: "It was a sunny afternoon when the Inspector was called to the scene, but when he arrived he found only One Thousand Dark Threads on Wet Pavement."
